My wife went to the Tempe location without me for a meal with her family so I demanded a growler of Leroy Brown to bring the experience home to me. I poured it a few days later. Nice thick light tan head and a pleasantly dark brown color. The aroma is malty. The taste is perfect, a nice malt hit with just enough bittering to keep it balanced. There is a slight nuttiness from the roasted malt character. I downed the growler and reminded myself how much more I enjoy English Browns than the hoppy American style.
