Visited the brewpub for lunch yesterday and had a snifter for $7.00.
Beer was served in a snifter with a nice white head.
Nose was sweet, of candied sugar.
Taste was very sweet, candied sugar dominated which minimized the typical esters and phenols with this style.
Mouthfeel was medium to heavy bodied, not what i would expect from the style.
Overall not a bad beer but not worth having again given the price point.
