Enjoyed a pint with lunch today at the Scottsdale Brewpub for $5.50.
Beer was served black with a solid off white head.
Nose was of floral and citrus hops with orange standing out.
Taste was really well balanced as the malt base was very mild and the hop addition was modest orange and grapefruit flavors. Finish was not abrasive at all.
Mouthfeel was light to medium bodied and refreshing.
Overall this was very drinkable and could be very sessionable for a style of beer that traditionally has not lent itself to those attributes.
