look: 4.5 | smell: 3.5 | taste: 3 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.5
Appearance: spot on for style; comes served in a shaker pint glass (boo), very cloudy and churned up (yay). Head is a bit short, but nice and white, large bubbles held together nicely. Golden color, light but about right, and as I said, very hazy.

Smell: Light aroma of brewed wheat, malts are quite pale otherwise and don't interrupt. Coriander aplenty, all over the nose. Lightly citric, or perhaps just some acidity.

Taste: I feel sort of bad saying 3.0, but I didn't think it was as good as the nose, and I didn't love that. The flavor had the coriander-wheat action going on, but too much like a witbier to really fit the style: there was a lot of citric flavor, probably acidity covered up by some light fruit additions. Very murky and hard to tell. The salt toward the end was evident and helped move the overall flavor profile away from witbier and toward something unique.

The mouthfeel was creamy and smooth like a reasonable wheat-based beer ought to be. Drinkability took a hit as there was an awkward flavor that followed the spice and salt, probably a yeast byproduct, but a little unpleasant and it lead straight to the finish so it sort of hung around.

When the girlfriend dislikes a low-abv, spiced wheat beer (and has enjoyed other saline beers, discounting the "gose bier uses salt" theory), the yeast has something to answer. Slightly raw batch, but not horrible. Good try!
