Fresh/wet Hop Hazy IPA with fresh hops harvested from Elk Mountain Farms Idaho in 2020 harvest.
Quad 16oz pack. Poured into snifter.
Look: Golden. Slightly hazy. Half finger of foam lingers a short while until several drinks. Lacing minimal.
Smell: Tropical hop notes on the nose hit first (pineapple/passion fruit). Followed by a pale light malt sweetness.
Taste: Fresh tropical blast of hops up front. Pineapple and passion follow taste as same as on the nose. No false advertising here, as with sometimes smells don't deliver taste or vice versa. Smooth going down. Followed by a nice crisp malt sweetness that compliments the hops towards the back end which leaves you ready for another sip almost immediately. Very tasty!
Feel: Nice carbonation level, slight alcohol and hop tartness, juicy as a hazy should be and not bitter.
Overall: Very tasty, juicy, hoppy yet smooth. Hard to not drink the whole 64oz of four 16oz cans in one sitting. A great showcase of fresh Amarillo hops.
If your lucky enough to find this before 2020 ends, grab one, you wont be disappointed!
