Poured a clear, golden orange color with a small head of foam. It smelled of tart fruits and a hint of floral notes. Very tart taste with a good deal of fruitiness and a touch of salt.

pale yellow, almost yellow-green in appearance. pretty clear, a little bit of suspension. unusual appearance- I'm curious about this one. salty/funky aroma; smells like a gose. a tiny bit closed off i think. usually beers in this genre are like rank with sour and funk, this one is pretty reined in. tastes amazing. very true to the gose style - salt and sour strike a perfect balance, zero bitterness, with a wonderful wheat base. I've been trying a lot of gose beers from craft brews lately and this one is ON POINT. really precise in taste. mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, with a medium paced sour finish. the salt is always present however and lingers in the aftertaste. strong. Overall, a great example of this style. Peace Tree is an Iowa brewery and is catching a lot of attention lately for one of their blonde ales. I think this beers tops that one and may be their strongest offering that I have had the pleasure of sampling.

On tap at Brew In the Village in Davenport, IA on 02/19/17. The saltiness paired well with biscuits and gravy!

Beautiful apple juice color, no head.
Very clean aromas, like fresh laundry, salt, flowers.
Taste is on par with many $5/bottle gose beers. Salt and sour combine real nicely with rose pedals, hibiscus.
Feel is crisp, but has a distinct dryness. Very cool.
Overall - a solid gose. Worth seeking out.

Solid sour, not overly pucker-inducing

Pours nicely with minimal head, minimal lacing. Smell not strong, almost non-existant. Feel is sharp and crispy, almost fizzy-like. Taste is quite sour, not unpleasant, but rather very true to the gose style. A very fine beer out of the brewery in Knoxville. A perfect choice for a warm spring evening.
