Grapefruit Gose

a nice beer for summer, with a simple but very clean lacto profile, acidic enough without being real intense, and without any of the cheesy or stinky weirdness that comes with a lot of these now that everybody and their grandmother is kettle souring. this has a bright mineral element to it with the salt, brine and lemon together, super refreshing over the light wheat malt base. the grapefruit is really natural just like it appears in their no coast ipa, pulpy and fleshy and zesty and juicy all at the same time, like they use the whole fruit. i like the added acidity from the grapefruit, it makes this even more refreshing, and its pretty pungent, i taste it well in front of any grain. the bitterness is nice too and this is very summery and drinkable overall. very basic example of the style, but they have done a nice job with it and the grapefruit is really authentic. nice brew overall, not too sour to have a couple of them. i liked pretty much all the beers here at peace tree, these guys are doing some fantastic stuff!
