The stout is served in a standard pint glass. The beer is dark brown with a beige head and some red highlights.
The nose is of dark fruit and roasted grains. Needs to be amped-up a notch.
The taste falls on the mild side of the stout spectrum. Lightly roasted malts, some sugared raisins and some light floral hoping makes up the taste profile.
The mouth has active carbonation and falls into the medium spectrum. Drinkability is pretty good.
I think of this one as a hot weather stout but could also fall into the Schwarzbier beir category based on taste and mouth feel.
