Draft at Redwood Curtain taproom. A very enjoyable spicy IPA. Good color, solid nose, nice spicy flavor, and good mouthfeel. I'd order it again, a solid IPA.

Slightly on the malty side. Little bitterness. Balanced.

The IPA from Redwood Curtain is an excellent brew. Purchased in a growler and poured into a pint glass.
The beer has a light aroma of hops and alcohol, a nice gentle scent. Appealing.
The beer pours a deep rich amber. Initially a frothy head (perhaps still agitated from the ride home) which gives way to a hint of foam and nice lace pattern on the glass.
The taste is a compelling combo of bitter and rich. There is a very attractive smoked flavor to this drink. The citrus west-coast-hop flavor is here, but there is more in this beer. Some rich enhancement that I can't quite place. There isn't much flavor left after the sip, it is quite drinkable.
6.4 is a notable alcohol potency. I think you get more silly quicker with this particular beer.
Recommended with a crowd of people around and some loud music playing.
