A: Pours a hazy, golden, light-honey color; barely any head, slight lacing. Even though there's no head, the color is brilliant and beautiful, and when held to the light this beer shines like a fine gem.
S: Belgian yeast, lots of tropical fruits, and a little tart sweetness; huge floral notes begin to stick out as it warms.
T: Floral tropical fruits up front; smooths into a sweet belgian yeastiness along the middle; finishes slightly peppery, with some delicious tart fruity notes. The fruity/floral flavors linger deliciously on the back of the tongue.
M: Medium-light thickness, slightly carbonated; opens up nicely in the middle, allowing the flavors to expand and coat the mouth; very lightly dry finish.
O: This is one of the best Tripels I've ever had, if not the best. It's fruity, belgian-y, and delighfully floral and delicious. I'm sad that they don't bottle any of their beers (the only way you'll try these brews is on tap around Humboldt County), because this Tripel puts all others to shame. Absolutely delicious.
