Rosalie taps into our brewery’s family winemaking roots, using local wine grapes to create a delicious one-of-a-kind beer rosé with bright fruit flavors and luscious acidity.
Rosalie is co-fermented with Chardonnay and other wine grape varieties harvested just miles from the brewery. We also incorporate a dash of hibiscus flower to achieve a brilliant color.

Copenhagen 21/3 2020. 35,5 cl tall, thin can from Meny, Gymnasievej, Køge. Drawing of girl holding a Buch of grapes in sunny California on the can.
Pours unclear pink-is yellow with a medium-sized, bubbly white head. Settles as thin, flimsy, patchy layer of foam unable to cover the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma is medium intense with a fruity sweetness and vinous sourness. Sweet grapes and hibiscus. Unripe berries, lemon and citrus fruit. Acerbic touch.
Strong carbonation. Thin, watery, tingling, almost fizzy texture.
Flavor is lightly sweet followed boba stronger tart sourness. Aftertaste is a bit thin. Sourish. Lingers shortly. Tart, dry, vinous finish.
A bit thin but undoubtly a refreshing, sparkling addition to a hot summerday.

Pours clear, gold in color with 1/3 inch head. Taste is white grapes, wine, and light oak. Light bodied, high carbonation, slightly bitter. Very wine like. Decent but I prefer other wine beers.

Medium bodied and about the same for carbonation. Has an odd pinkish copper color.
Aroma is ripe peaches, floral, peach juice and candy
Taste is similar to aroma with it being less sweet than aroma suggests. Tart and sour but mild, far from puckering.
It is an Interesting well made beer but not mind blowing. Still a safe refreshing choice on a warm day

Pours pink with a 1/4 inch white head. Minimal lacing.
Aroma is grape must, floral.
Taste is grapes, tart, acidic.
Thin bodied, lively carbonation. Tart, dry finish.
This is more like a wine than a beer. Ok but not one I'd rush out to buy.

Picked up a 6 pack of this, thought Rosario might be interested in it. Pffft.
Pours a watery pinkish appearance. Very mild 1/5" white head that quickly is gone. Aroma had a bit of grape and hibiscus(?) to it.
Taste was pretty mild, especially for a fruit/wine/beer mashup, like the mildest I've ever had compared to other ones from Firestone and Bruery. The ibus on this could be like 3, there doesn't seem to be any, total lack of hops going on. A bit sweeter than any other one I've had too. Has almost no malt like quality to it. This seems to lean further into the wine category than beer, especially if you don't look at the beer like abv. Instead of being all grape like wine, they drop in hibiscus and I dunno what else.
On the one hand its nice because the average girl I take outside for activities (swimming, fishing, shooting, mudding, tailgating) doesn't like most of what I drink. On the other hand, I'm kind of meh on it other than the price, so I would say results are mixed.

Firestone Walker Brewing Co. "Rosalie"
12 fl. oz. can, "CANNED ON 03/02/1917:03"
$1.99 @ Total Wine & More, Cherry Hill, NJ
Notes via stream of consciousness: It's poured a mostly clear, just slightly hazy pinkish amber beneath a short head of white foam. The aroma is limited but lightly fruity and very clean. The flavor is surprisingly like that of a sparkling rosé wine. It's somewhat acidic, lightly fruity with white grape, and gently effervescent. There's no bitterness to it but none is needed as the acidity more than balances what sweetness is there. It's light bodied and delicately bristling on the tongue. It's very refreshing, and at 5% you could drink more than you could if you were drinking wine. Of the dozen or so rosé beers that I've tasted this one comes the closest to replicating a rosé wine. My question then is, is it cheaper than wine? I won't do the math but this tastes a lot like the Jaume Serra Cristalino Brut Rosé Cava that I buy for about $7.97 a bottle at Total Wine & More. So to sum up, any time that you'd want a sparkling rosé wine you could easily replace it with this. I'm thinking Shakespeare In The Park, backyard BBQs, and relaxing on the beach or camping. It's really well done, and well worth trying.

12 oz can, split with my wife. This looks and tastes remarkably similar to a sparkling rose wine. I am not usually a huge fan of hibiscus in beer but in combination with the wine grapes it comes through as slightly tart without the hibiscus-y flavor.
