Bottle pour- purplish juice with pinkish head leaving a bit of lacing. Nose is more tart than sweet with a bit of funk. Taste follows with a bit of sweetness followed by a slightly dry finish.

Appearance: Violet hued amber color with a medium-sized very light pink head that slowly faded with nice lacing. A good looking wild ale.
Smell: Moderate barnyard funk, tart berry notes with some sweet citrus notes.
Taste: The berry notes from the nose and some moderate grassy/hay notes feature in the flavor profile. I also get some mild sweet fruit note that die out as some mild leather notes show up drying up the beer. The beer has a fairly dry finish the sweetish berry notes stick around until the finish. There is perhaps the slightest hint of vanilla, but I pick that up mainly as a slight sweetness.
Mouth-feel: Light-bodied with a generous level of carbonation. The mouth-feel is proper for a sour.
Overall: A tasty Barrel Works beer. The flavor profile is tasty, and all the flavor elements play nice with each other.
