From a mixed 12 pack while visiting way out west. Shame to see so much IPA focus from FW these days, but this was a pleasant surprise. Evenly distributed cloudiness without particulates, moderate aroma without being overpowering, and a light cream mouthfeel to go along with tastes (to me) of peach and honeysuckle.

6/26/22 From a twelve pack of Firestone IPA mix.
Dave likes this one! Not as complex as the Hopnisis, but wow, the mouthfeel is so incredible that it takes the flavor to the next level. Nice and hazy in the glass, the nose is early peach and, as suggested, white wine. The flavor is a beautiful light peach and lemon rind with no harshness at all . Well done, FW!

12oz can. Poured out a slightly cloudy, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of bubbly foam. It left sudsy trails of lace. It smelled of white wine grapes, caramel, sweet fruit and toffee. Nice citrusy taste with toasted caramel and a sharp bitterness.

Hazy dull orange beer with big khaki head and moderate lace.
Pineapple, grapefruit, lemon, papaya, melon on the nose with a touch of yeast.
Peach, pineapple, orange, & papaya all knocked down in sweetness level by a well balanced dry hop presence without too much bitterness.
Smooth, clean low carbonation with lighter than medium body and a dry citrus finish.
Quite tasty hazy IPA that is low on the malt and with somewhat delicate hops yielding a nice enticing aroma and light tropical taste.

An update to Germanic hops and other hop flavors that favor white wine doesn't mean that the beer has to stick to more traditional roots. Firestone Walker comes firing with a hazy IPA at point blanc range.
Blank Noise rolls onto the senses with a nearly tangy fruit scent that resembles greener citrus, white tropic fruit and hints of wine and herb shortly after its moderately hazy golden-straw pour. Pouring through the stark white foam, the sweeter early impressions of malt are of shortcake, honeysuckle and vanilla wafer for a slight cereal-centric upstart.
Then the beer quickly favors the hops and the unique flavors that both Hallertau Blanc and Nelson Sauvin have in tow. Under ripened orange, white grapefruit and juicier honeydew create a juicy flavor and feel on the middle palate. Inviting more tropical flavors of passionfruit, papaya and kiwi, the beer's nearly tangy and exotic flavors extend into an herbal late palate chocked full of verbena, lemongrass, sassafras, peppery white wine and fresh parsley-like herbs.
Medium bodied and trending lighter and drier, the beer's juicy flavors finish spicy, pleasantly grassy and with a drying bite. Not registering like the classic hazy ale, Blanc Noise finishes crisp, refreshing and off-clean with a medium-length afterglow of green fruit and white wine.

Appearance - Pours hazy and yellow-orange in color. White, near finger width head that displays fair retention before dying down to a thin, broken layer of suds with a thin ring forming out the perimeter.
Smell - An equal blend of floral, citrusy, and white grape notes, with a hint of melon beneath.
Taste - Bright notes of orange, white grape and starfruit. A hint of melon. Finish is clean, leaving a gentle fruity sweetness and a trace of floral character on the tongue.
Mouthfeel - Light-to-medium in body with a fair amount of bitey carbonation. Smooth drinker before a lightly dry finish.
Overall - I'm a sucker for hallertau blanc hops, and this beer certainly showcases it well here. One I'd like to see get it's own six pack, for sure!

pours a super hazy pale orange gold body with amber tinges on the edges and a cream-colored frothy foam head that peaks at two fingers height and holds with moderate retention, leaving mild sheets of thin sudsy lacing behind as it settles to a full murky cap with thick defined halo
aroma is sweet, bright, floral and juicy - near dank but not quite. has an orange juice tinge, complete with peel-like earthy spicy bittersweetness
taste is spritz laced bright citrus and tropical fruit, dank and lush and tinged by a spiced earthiness and bready malt backbone.
mouthfeel is medium-high carbonation and medium bodied that runs chewy and pillowed with crisp tinges and a semi-dry finish that leaves a spice laced lush tropical and citrus aftertaste that has an earthy bittersweet bite in the end
overall:
superb and well balanced NEIPA that adds a little west coast spiced hop to the mix making for a super interesting sit n sipper. think spiced mango and you're on the right track. delicious.

Came in a 12 pack of Firestone IPAs. Pours a golden pale straw color with moderate head and a decent amount of lacing. Smell is citrus and hoppy with a really dank scent. Taste is balanced and hop forward. Nice citrus finish. Mouthfeel is nice as well. Really solid IPA.
