Poured from a tap into a pint glass at KnB Wine Cellar’s in San Diego, Calif. Color was light brown. Lots of bubbles on the side of the glass. Some lacing on the top that dissipated after 5-6 minutes. About ½-inch of head.
First smell was malty. Also bitterness and carbonation in the smell. Fairly weak smells though.
Not much of a taste. Some malts, but fairly smooth. Hints of nuts and caramel. Pretty bland.
Mouthfeel was average, not good and not bad. The taste stayed the same throughout. High on the carbonation.
Nice balance throughout. Fairly refreshing. Highly carbonated.
The common theme to this beer was “didn’t love it, didn’t hate it.” The smoothness is what really stood out.
