Hard for me to go higher with a pils. This one named Hoppy Pils.

A: Classic yellow with a single finger white head. Not much lacing evident.

S: Flowery, herbal hops with grass. Atop cracker and biscuit.

T: White biscuit and cracker carry the herbal, floral, grassy and lemongrass notes. Very clean nice bitterness. As good as Pils gets.

M: Light in body with bright carbonation. The feel is crisp, satisfying, cleansing, and dry.

Hoppy German Pilsner. Well done.

I'm assuming that this the correct beer, the bar I had it at only listed it as "Pilsner". Served in Imperial Pint glass. Poured a very clean, clear, bright golden yellow color that an inch of white head that had OK retention and very light lacing.

The aroma was a very nice blend of sweet, grainy malts and gentle, even hops. The flavors were the same good features, pleasing grains and smooth hops. The body was smooth and even, but a bit on the sticky side at the finish. Drinkability was very good indeed, you could drink these all day or night. Overall, a very nice take on the style, a must try if you like a good example of the style.

A: Pellucid yellow with a big sea foam white head. Much lacing is evident.

S: Flowery and herbal hop notes with grass. Malt imparts cracker and biscuit. There's a little spiciness on the nose.

T: Biscuit and a cracker accompany herbal and lemongrass notes. Bitterness is assertive. The finish is clean and crisp with a light spiciness.

M: Light in body with high carbonation. The mouthfeel is crisp and dry.

Overall: A well executed and rewarding German Pils.
