Pours a caramel color, yet fairly clear. Bubbly white head that fded quickly. Nose is very pungent, but not offensive. Taste was also pungent but fairly dry finish.

Firestone Flanders has a thick, spongy, ivory head, a hazy, rust-orange-red, bubbly appearance, some lacing, and a descending cloud, following the "swish & pour". The aroma is of "barnyard odors", spice, and bread crust. It has a very tart flavor, tannins, no bitterness, and some sweetness. Firestone Flanders has a light-to-medium body and a very dry finish.
