On tap at the Berliner Bash. Served in a classy plastic taster. This is the BA version of Nooner Batch 1.
Appearance - Murky pink with white chunks. Sediment slowly rises with the carbonation like a lava lamp. Nice white head.
Smell - Raspberry and strawberry. A little oak. Some vanilla.
Taste - Raspberry and strawberry prominent, but quickly the vanilla and oak tempers it. A slight bit of funk to it also. The barrel really adds an interesting dimension.
Mouthfeel - Medium carbonation. Medium bodied.
Overall - I was skeptical of the idea of the barrel aging, but it's a great addition.
