very pretty, cloudy, peach skin color that seemed to almost glow with a small white head that floated on top for a nice little while. nose was bright, refreshing, complex fruit and herb with citrus and pineapple shining and harmonizing with sage and sweet lemongrass and a scent that was like standing in a barn on maui and smeling sweet bread (not sweetbread; sweet hawaiian bread) being cooked off in the distance. in other words, the scent of it all transported me for a second, and that's really what it's all about. fantastic. everything is well integrated in the taste and like i said before, it all seems rather harmonious, or related even, and the pineapple plays it's own show as well as amplifying and complimenting the other flavors. pretty awesome variation on an already creative unique and delicious recipe. also the perfect beer for 10am on 10/10/10!!! thank you stillwater. thanks you max's.
