From a shared bottle at Akurat in Stockholm.

Pours a dark vibrant red with a little bit of pink foam.

Smell is tart and oaky with notes of fresh raspberries, raspberry jam and blackberries, with a bit of funk.

Taste is sour and fruity with huge notes of blackberries up front, backed by some cherries, vinegar and funk. Raspberries and raspberry jam come out in the second wave, along with a slight hint of almonds, vanilla and... sunflower seeds? Acidity is perfect and the finish long and complex.

Mouthfeel is medium and ry with bright carbonation.

Overall, a terrific beer, that really lets the berries shine.

Bottle at the Lambikodroom.

A hazy pink with a dense , light pink head. The nose has a lot of blackberry with a little bit of raspberry present. Deep, juicy, earthy, mildly nutty, mildly seed like. The palate opens with a brilliant and focused blackberry character, clean, juicy, minimally jammy and refreshingly lemony. A mild earthy and mineral character is present as well. Raspberry blends into the the blackberry note, and a hint of sour cherry, particularly sour cherry pits, is present Drying, sour on the finish. Excellent.

Pours a dark red, fiery ember color with no real head to speak of.

Smells of funky blackberries accompanied by riper raspberries and a prominent note of wet grass. Has a very recognizable note of mushrooms and old blue cheese atop, adding a nice depth to the fruits.

Has a lower carbonation with a light, smooth mouthfeel to, which requires just a light carbonation note.

Tastes of prominent blackberries, earth, soft aqueous note, a little bit of raspberries and mellow funk. Its flavors are lighter on the tongue than the aromas indicated, with lighter funk and a lemon note atop. Finishes soft, heavier on the raspberries with earthy blackberries and berry piths.

Complex, with a prominent oak taste to it, which enriches the fruits quite a bit. Piths are prominent, pointing out the toasted barrel in a great way.
