Well well well, look who gets to write the first review of this lambic for this Next Glass owned database? Damn right skippy.
So much like the current trend, here we are with an almost eight and half percent lambic. Ah tradition. So this is like a grape lambic, bring on the beer wine hybrid like tendencies. Here comes my girl. Has an amber color pour with 1/4" off white head mostly to the sides of the glass. The aroma didn't really pop obvious grape to me, but it did have a more citrus funk going for it, white grape I presume is Muscaris given the smell and appearance.
The taste hits one of the drier but more boozy aspects of the department including mouthfeel. Did they blend grape juice or just straight wine to get this abv? Sizeable acidity and booziness going on. Stronger carbonation than expected, this is definitely still more lambic than wine. This is a pretty strong white grape, at least in this proportion it is, strong tannin presence.
