Despite being poured from a lambic basket after lying on its side for half a year, the pastel orangey-red body displays turbid right from the start. The head builds tall and lumpy of a pinkish, off-white foam that slowly settles in a lambic tumbler to a finely frothy blanket.
A musty, dusty, oaky and nutty nose of walnut paste and sawdust with a touch of lactic funk is contrasted by a sweet then spicy rhubarb-cherry combo, drying and chewing up in the delicately tanniny finish.
The medium-light body has an airy, fine carbonation.
Mostly kriek-forward, it's only lightly accented by herbal, tart rhubarb while exhibiting a moderately low acidity.
