This specific Oude Geuze Cuvee Armand & Gaston has been blended with lambikken originating from six different barrels and seven different brews. More than half the blend consists of young lambikken. We aged the bottles in our cellar for over 32 months until release.

Bottle pour at the Sovereign in DC, into a wine glass....was actually '17-'18, b. 19, but I don't see the point of creating a new listing, so I'll just put it here. Beautiful color, kind of a delicate pinkish peach. Modest head that subsides after a minute into just a thin little ring. Nose: wow, there is a lot going on here.

Poured a 375ml caged and corked bottle into a tulip. A cloudy apricot with a one finger white head which sticks around. Some patchy lacing.
Sour in the nose. Fruit and a hint of citrus.
The taste is fruit up front. Very moderately sour. Wood. Moderately funky. Very sweet. Alcohol is well hidden. A long finish.
Light body and moderate carbonation.
A very smooth and well balanced Gueuze. Well worth a try.
