Poured from a 750 ml bottle bought in Florida in Sep 2018. The label states this is a "recurring release" which could be made with different ingredients each time. It is described as an American IPA fermented in oak red wine barrels with Saccharomyces, then finished with 12 strains of Brett. and dry hopping.

L - Beer is light golden in color with just a bit of haze, Head is thick, creamy and persistent in a bone color. Very attractive.

S - Nice blend of fresh tropical fruit (mostly pineapple), low citrus and pine hops, and moderate barnyard funk. Oak not detectable. Overall, a fresh, inviting aroma.

T - Lemon and pineapple sharpness up front, but this is moderated by some low malt sweetness. The barnyard underpins it all and becomes dominant in the slightly sweet finish. The expected oak was not a big flavor factor.

F - Medium body with some silkiness. Low but creamy carbonation. Medium hops bitterness seems low for an American IPA, but it could just be disguised by all the other flavors. Sourness/acidity are low but present. Low alcohol presence.

O - This is a crisp, fresh-tasting, moderately-funked IPA. The sourness and funk are restrained, but definitely contribute to an interesting and pleasing beer.

A very odd beer. Hoppy and resiny, but also notes of funk and Brett. The barrels seem to be white wine. Very bitter and funky aftertaste. Not a big fan of this one.

fulton keeps impressing me every single time i have a new beer from them, and this is one of their very best. taproom exclusive i think, its a barrel fermented brett ipa, and they have done an amazing job with it. hazy but pale, heady and active in the glass. its pretty beer and it smells insane. the brett is real fruity and mature, obviously super dry too, and the hop complexion seems to be perfectly paired with this strain of brett, some tropical notes there too, and there is some mellowing wood here too. i dont smell or taste any spirit specifically, seems like a neutral wood profile to me, slightly botanical from the hops teases gin for a second, but i dont think thats the case. fresh wet funkiness abounds here, and the brett flavors the beer as much as the hops do, juicy and southern hemisphere it seems, fresh as can be, a neat contrast with the wood. average bitterness but a dry finish seems exposed in the end, but in a good way. round soft body that likely incorporates a little wheat. special beer, i hope they package this one because i am dying to drink it again. really stoked on fulton right now!

Crazy Brett aroma, with some tropical notes. Taste is also Brett driven, with mango and tangerine notes. Somewhat hoppy but not bitter. Really refreshing Brett beer.
