12oz bottle. Poured out a clear, golden orange color with a small, off-white head of foam. It smelled of citrus, floral notes and toasted caramel. Nice citrusy taste with a sharp bitterness and sweet caramel backbone.

Excellent beer. They get the best out of the Citra hops. Strong citrus, and tropical fruit impressions with just a whiff of floral notes as well.
The taste is citrus hops on top of a malt backing that is non assertive flavor wise but sturdy. Hop flavors of mandarin oranges, pineapple and tangerines. The malt is so clean and lets the hops shine.
Medium bodied. Real clean tasting with a vibrant hop flavor and aroma. Great beer. No cattiness to this at all which the regular 300 definitely has.

This beer pours a bright gold-orange with a solid head. The aroma is bold, with notes of mango, pineapple, guava, and pink grapefruit. The flavor is lovely and smooth, with generous pink grapefruit, bright fresh pineapple, tangerine, and guava. The mouthfeel is velvety smooth, with brisk, foaming carbonation. Overall this is a magnificent beer, with bold, vibrant flavors and sensational balances.

i mean, this was already a great beer right? one of the best hoppy offerings in the twin cities if i am being honest, so to mess with at all seems unnecessary, but they did a tasteful job with the double dry hopping, in that the beer is still clear, still has a little bitterness, and is still a great showcase of the absolute essence of the mosaic hop. if anything, the flavor is largely the same for me, still balanced by the grain, still pineapple and tangerine forward on the hops, still oily and full of glide, west coast in nature, and incredibly fresh. its the aroma that benefits the most from the additional hops, which add a floral honey character up front, an intense herbal brightness, and more pineapple character all the way through it. its amazingly fresh, well made beer, and an ipa i could drink pint after pint of. im not sure the double dry hopping makes it a better beer, its really not absurdly different, its still in balance, and its still very tasteful, not forced. delicious beer, a cool tweak, maybe try it with something other than mosaic next time for a new wrinkle...
