Pours pitch black. Heavy carbonation, and there was a 2 finger head, but the head dissipated quickly. No lacing on the glass.
The nose is, well, like the others from this pack - coffee. That's really all I get in the aroma.
Taste - I'm interested in this. The coffee starts out, then it switches to a caramel, vanilla flavor.
Quite smooth feeling. Decent bodied. Some carbonation. Some creaminess.
I am quite happy with this beer. It's got a lot of good things going on with it that make it just work right.

12oz can. One of a Mixed Coffee 4-pack.
Ruby brown colored body. Thin finger of tan head, which settles back to an active, bubbly island cap and ring.
Aroma of a base porter with roasted malts that express some chocolate and toffee. Has an overlay of coffee.
Taste has the roasted malts, and a background of tangy dark fruit. The coffee is there but more at the end and gives the aftertaste a little bitterness.
Thinner mouth feel, but with a creamy texture. Good carbonation.
This has a good melding of flavors but is overall subdued. Good enough for some darker session work.

Nice coffee flavor with a little bit more going on than the dopplebock. But it is still relatively basic beer. Looks good and has a good body with proper carbonation.

Can. Tan head. Dark brown color.
Coffee and chocolate. Roasted malts. Caramel. Pretty simple, but a lot of flavor and great coffee vibes going on. Medium bodied.
