Appearance: Pours a deep, rose colored copper color, similar to a fruit beer. Light white head that fades quickly. SRM of 14 (4.00)
Aroma: Strong aromas of Belgian spices. I get a lot of funk upfront. There is clove, rubber, and a dark berry and grape aroma. (3.75)
Flavor: Flavor follows the nose. Nice Belgian spices. Some dark blackberry orange, clove, coriander with a dark berry flavor. Lots of cow hide funk here. A little banana underneath. Lots of yeast and finishes dry and balanced. (3.75)
Feel: Crisp and well-carbonated as it should be. Finishes dry, light, and crisp from the carbonation (4.00)
Overall: A pretty-good Belgian beer here actually. Strong Belgian spices and funk remind me of a saison more than a wit. Nice dark berry flavors. It's good and I would drink it again. (Overall Rating: 3.84)
