Pretty decent Marzen type offering. I don't much like this style but I could drink this again.

Appearance: Pours a clear, medium orange color with a moderate white head. SRM of 10. (4.00)

Aroma: Moderately strong aromas of baked bread, orange and ambers notes. Sweet honey underneath. (4.25)

Flavor: The flavor follows with more sweet bread malt, honey, some light citrus and floral notes. A light honey and orange citrus flavor to finish. Mildly sweet. (4.25)

Feel: Medium to heavier bodied. Lower carbonation. Smooth and soft, with a lingering honey feel on the palate in a good way. (4.00)

Compared to Surly Oktoberfest 9/7/22: Pours a slightly darker color, similar appearance otherwise. Stronger aromas. More sweet honey. Less bread malt, dry yeast. Less carbonation. Smoother and sweeter.

Compared to Benediktiner Festbier 10/2/22: Pours a darker color. Stronger aromas. More baked bread, honey, caramel. Less earthy Munich malt and bread malt.

Compared to Bitburger Festbier 10/2/22: Pours a lighter color. Milder aromas. More cereal malt and bread roll. More smooth honey and flower. Less rich honey/syrup, booze, and cloying sweetness.

Compared to Eagle Park M.C. Hammerschlagen 10/22: Pours a darker color. Milder aromas. More honey biscuit flavors. Less earthy honey and floral notes. More crisp.

Overall: Wow this one must be new. Fulton is a great brewery, but so many Oktoberfests are only average. This one is quite good. Nice baked bread with sweet honey flavors. Leans sweet, but has the honey and baked bread flavors to talk the talk. Leans sweet, but very smooth. (Rating: 4.21, will have to try more)

Pours a clear golden color with a light khaki head . Smell is toffe ,caramel and baked bread . Taste follows the nose tasty malt/caramel some citrus hops grassy herbal and baked bread in finish. Mouth feel sweet and creamy . Light for the style as it is a festbier ,tasty thou.
