From a 16oz can. Canned on 05/01/2024. This beer has been sitting in my fridge for quite a time.
Murky golden looking beer in the glass. There was a 1 finger white head that dissipated almost immediately. There's no lacing on the glass.
Aroma is like the label says. I get watermelon and a hint of lime. The watermelon isn't a strong aroma, but it is there for sure.
Taste - Well, the combination does work. I am getting all elements in the flavor profile. Watermelon isn't a strong flavor, but I do get a solid hit on it. The lime provides a nice tartness that mellows out the sweetness of the watermelon. The salt provides a nice contrast to the other flavors in this beer.
This beer has a very refreshing feeling to it. It is light bodied, though not watery feeling.
Watermelon in a beer usually does not turn out good. This beer is the exception to it. They really did a good job with it. Very refreshing and tasty even with age on it.
