Reviewed from notes. Road trip with my MI Yooper buddy, somewhere in Duluth, MN. The appearance was a ruddy burnt orange color with a cap of a little white foamy head. Dissipated fairly quick with not much lace. The aroma had some grassy to earthy hops, light leather, some biscuits - dry sweetness. Touch of dry wood. The flavor leaned towards that dry malty semi-sweetness like a good English mild should note. Some light sweet grains. No aftertaste. Dry malty sort of finish. The palate was between light and medium bodied with a good sessionable feel about it. Low carbonation. ABV felt as projected. Overall, we both liked this English Dark Mild ale.

A-pours a dark brown color with auburn highlights comes with a small tan head that recedes to a thin collar very little lacing
S-is mild roasted oats and malts small amount of nut bread and a fruity raspberry smell
T- mild rolled oats a touch of toffee a bit of baked bread and roasted malts with a lingering fruity taste of raspberry which i found odd in the finish
M- smooth and silky with low carbonation
O- a session brew for sure easy to drink on a hot day refreshing
