16oz can
Pours a finger of white head into my Pilsner glass. Retention is subpar and the head fades pretty quickly, initial lacing looks decent though. Body is straw yellow, crystal clear, with a hefty amount of bubbles coming up. Looks good so far, all things considered.
Nose has an elegant bready malt profile, slight sourdough. More depth than a macro. Some sweetness. Clean. Very nice.
Certainly has more depth than a macro. Maltiness is moderate, though heavy for an American Light Lager and arguably out of the style boundaries, but I don’t care. Some bread, noticeably toasty. Slightly grainy at times, but that is mostly fleeting. Pretty nice.
Carbonation is high. Body is pretty light. Drinks clean and crip, but there is certainly more perceived sweetness than in a normal American Light Lager - I wouldn’t call this dry. Bitterness is low, but just barely there. Overall a nice mouthfeel, pretty full and balanced for a lager.
Drinkability is very nice.
Appearance turned out not that great. Nearly zero lacing.
Overall a nice crushable lager, with and elevated toasty malt profile.
