First had: on tap at their brewpub
Poured a clear golden yellow color with a thin white head that dissipated quickly. Smell was sugary sweet, caramel apple. Taste of big, big melons (uh huh huh), natural at first, mellowing out to a more Jolly Rancher-ish sweetness; big butterscotch profile as well. Finished crisp with a little wet cardboard in the aftertaste. Light in the mouth, a bit syrupy, and very nice and drinkable overall. I was pleasantly surprised.
