Tap at peppercorns nice creamy fizzy 1 finger pink head with spots of purple blueberry flesh, super bright pink slight hazy colored. 4.25

Brings a light malt base, slight sweetness, into fresh blueberry, blueberry flesh like a mush of it, and some tannic skin as well. 4.5

Taste starts with tart blueberry actually, like tart slightly unripe berry, and mild tannic skin, then fresh blueberry flesh, little juicy. Next come malt, sweet toasty malt, little sweet and syrupy like. Background has mild hop note but barely. Finish is drier but little sticky, mild acidic bite and tart blueberry skin, little bitterness, mild blueberry. 4

Mouth is med bod, quite carbonated a bit too much but that's peppercorns not Wormtown, touch of acidic bite.3.75

Overall not bad, better than turtle boy, less blueberry than I expected bit nice beer in general. Sorry rudzud, not as good as you seemed to think. Maybe it's too old by now, or bottom of keg, or what but I wasn't as impressed. 3.75

Enjoyed at Peppercorns.

A - Poured into a standard pint glass a hazy blueberry juice purple pink hue with a one finger sudsy slightly pinkish head that fades to leave light side lacing. Love the colour.

S - Aromas of blueberry galore. Jam, stems, skins, sweeter flesh, juice. Wow. Fresh blueberry aroma, like stuffing my nose into a freshly picked container of blueberries, or waking around a pick your own farm...intense!

T - Taste is much more "beer" like. I'm guessing the base for this beer was blonde cougar, fair amount of grains, light malts, the blueberries dance around here though is much more restrained. A nice mixture of fresh berry, jam, and juice. Really nicely done.

M - Mouthfeel is nice and crisp and clean, appropriate carbonation.

O - Overall this beer may be my favourite non sour blueberry beer. The natural colour and aromas are killer. 120lbs of blueberries is a lot but definitely worth it!
