Poured from a can into a pint glass
Appearance – The beer pours a hazy reddish-brown color with a one finger head of tan colored foam. The head has a good level of retention, fading slowly over time and leaving a bit of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma of the brew is strong of a malty brown bread smell mixed with tons of sour vinegar and apple cider vinegar. Other aromas of must and a light cherry are in there as well. Rounding it all out are some light smells of cocoa and toast, along with a touch of raspberry.
Taste – The taste begins with a sour and tart cherry and raspberry flavor accompanied by a big showing of apple cider vinegar and green apple. There are other flavors of lemon and a touch of bread. As the taste advances more sourness joins in all while the sweetness fades a touch. Toward the end a bit of grain and hay join in, and with a touch of funk, one is left with a sour and tart slightly berry like taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the brew is medium in thickness and creaminess with a higher carbonation level. For the style the feel is nice and makes for an easy sipper.
Overall – A decent sour overall. A good level of tart and sour, with out being over the top.

Look: Amber to deep red in hue
Smell: interestingly hoppy aroma with a tinge of acidity in the background. notes of caramel as well
Taste: tart and refreshing for how malty the beer is, in addition to a nice hoppy finish. My bottle was a bit old for the style, but still finished nicely
Feel: a little overcarbonated, but getting that beer back to my state took some time and probably affected this and the taste aspect of the beer

Pours a mild fizzy foamy head fades semi quickly, dark but clear auburn ruby color.

Nose big sour mash, raw reddish malt soured straight up, little acidic funk, bready yeasty note, touch syrupy.

Taste brings sour mash, very acidic malt vinegar, acidic sour mash reddish sweet malt, candy syrup, sweety and syrupy bit sour funk lacto like. Sticky sweet flemmy sour finish, sweet and sour sauce with malt vinegar.

Mouth is med bod, syrupy flemmy acidic, decent carb.

Overall weird but interesting, wouldn't get again but fun to try.

The beer poured a dark brown fruit color-in a tulip, almost like a cola color- with a 3F head which
resolved itself to a 1 F head within minutes.

At first, at colder temps, the aroma is very sour cherries and fruit. As the beer warms up, there is a bouquet of fruit- cherries and other fruits- blueberries, and a a hint of chocolate.

The mouth feel is very carbonated as expected, but not as much as in other beers in the style.

The taste is is sour cherries at first, and then as the beer warms up: the sour fruit melds with other fruit tastes.

There is a balanced aroma/taste in this beer, unlike other beers in the style. The carbonation is not overdone, nor the taste/aroma: the sour cherries blends well with other fruits.

Overall: another excellent beer from Element which has a distinctive approach to brewing.

The beer pours a slightly dark tan, creamy color head that moderately dissipates and leaves a bit on the top of the beer. The beer itself is a slightly hazy ruby color that you can slightly see through to the other side. The beer also has some reddish purple notes but is predominately ruby colored. The beer smell is very aromatic and fruity. The smell has sweet cherry notes combined with a tart dark cherry smell. There also appear to be slight watermelon notes as well. The beer taste is a bit different from the smell. The taste has a very tarty and sour taste with sweet cherry and watermelon notes. The tart and sour taste tends to get stronger as the beer gets warmer. The mouthfeel is fairly smooth despite the high carbonation. The acidity has a nice bite to it but might put off some people. Overall, if you can find it, I recommend getting it. This beer is a very good American Wild Ale and worth the money.
