Contestant number three in my lookalike beer challenge...
This beer pours a clear pale straw colour, with one finger of soapy white head, which leaves near nada in the lace department. This one shows a middling amount of effervescence, compared to its two running mates, the Mexican and the Wheat Ale. It smells of very mild white grain, and soft weedy hops. The taste is light grain, and some moderately attractive grassy hops. Or maybe that was the eye-candy on the patio. Anyways, the carbonation is quite sedate, the body medium weight and approaching smooth, and it finishes clean and a wee bit off-dry, missing out on crisp by so little, I'm calling Mulligan.
Not a bad draft lager. 'Nuff said.
