(from notes taken at the brewery):
Dark brown body, opaque; minimal head, thin; decent rings inside the glass. Dark roasted grain nose with vanilla and coffee. The taste mirrors and amplifies the smell; rich coconut and vanilla; mild smokiness. Heavy body; still; smooth yet slick and velvety; coats the palate.
A well-balanced, rich, and sinfully wonderful smoked wheat porter. It has a sublime smokiness.

Sampled at SAVOR 2015. Intended to taste like scotch, this really hit the mark. Awesome sweet and smoky brew, with a lot of depth and rich character. Very smooth and mellow and perfect for sipping. Amazing pairing with boudin sausage.
