Nice copper color, smells sweeter than it tastes. Pleasant fizz bite, well balanced leaning toward the malty side. Would be well paired with roasted meat or stew.

Sampled at SAVOR 2015. Cajun take on the Biere de Garde style, aged in bourbon barrels. It ended up being a lot more subtle than I expected. Light and bland compared to the other brews of the evening. Good for the style but nothing special.
