Pours clear purple-gold in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is toasted malt, white grape juice, oak, with slight blackberry on the finish. Light bodied, medium-high carbonation, sweet and tart. Lots more of the wine barrels coming through..way overshadows the fruit, but still is a nice mix. Kinda reminds me of a good Berliner-weisse beer. Very interesting, tart, treat. I prefer others in the style, but this is good and gets better as it warms.

First had poured from 22-oz. bomber into tumbler. This blackberry beer aged in French wine barrels reminds me of nothing so much as a good, homemade blackberry cobbler.

Pours a hazy red orange with a two finger head that dissipates quickly and leaves little to no head. This is a very interesting beer. Has the mellow, velvetiness (sic?) Of a wheat beer complemented by the tartness of the Sauvignon Blanc barrels. I cannot understate the uniqueness of this beer or how much I enjoyed it especially after waiting for LA craft beer week to be able to try it.
