Bottle to becher pint glass, the appearance was semi-clear orange color with a two and a half finger's worth of white foamy head that slid off at a fair pace. Some lace ran here and there.
The aroma had some strawberry sweet and tart character up front with a light sour edge underneath.
The flavor was semi-tart and sour berry clean qualities forming a nice mobile smooth tart and sweet aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt a bit high, but wasn't too sharp if that makes sense. ABV felt fine. Finish was a bit sharp and jammy.
Overall, interesting as an IPA but seemed a bit different for me. Would I have again? Maybe.

From bottle that almost exploded apon opening. Massive foam bomb! Said to be an IPA but smells and tastes more like a sour with Sweet fruit undertones. Very strange beer.

Pours a pretty clear orange with a spotty, white head. Lots of lacing down the side of the tulip.
Smell is definitely strawberry - almost like a strawberry preserve/jam.
Taste of strawberry with a biscuity malt.
Feel is medium but something is not right on the finish.
Overall, it starts well with a nice look and promising nose but finishes just above average. I would have this at a bar with limited options but would probably not seek out to buy.

Another great beer from an underrated brewery. I feel like Bayoi Teche does not get the credit they deserve. But this pours a beautiful transparent deep red and orange. Like really, this is a sexy looking beer. Smell is A LOT of strawberry. The jalapeño is faint but present. Strawberry still dominates the pallette but the jalapeño comes through more and adds a pleasant bite on the back end. Another hit from Bayou Teche.
