12 oz bottle, no date, into Bearded Iris glass.
Has a wonderful jammy red-purple color with a finger of pink head that dwindles to a fingernail.
Aroma of sour cherry wrapped in powdered sugar and cocoa nibs. All the elements are here.
Holy hell this is kinda bad. It's like if you were enjoying a Cherry Tootsie-Pop and every 20 seconds or so, you dunked it in red wine vinegar and popped it back in.
Feel is busy with carbonation and busy with culture, very acidic, very lactic, very...alive. No heat. Slight tannic dryness. Pucker. Mmop.
Overall, not a repeat purchase for me. It's not terrible, but it's also not very good. Interesting trial. Cherry Tootsie Pop dipped in red wine vinegar. That's the beer in a nutshell.
