Type: Draft
Glass: 12-oz. snifter glass
From: Alpine Beer Company Pub in Alpine, Calif.
Price: $6
Purchased: July 24, 2015
Consumed: July 24, 2015
Misc.: N/A
Poured an orange, dark pale, hazy color with 1-to-2 fingers of rocky, white head. Average spotty lacing on the sides of the glass. Poor retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled Citra, floral, mandarin rind, orange zest and tropical late, but all hard to find. (Smell - 3.50)
Taste was better than the nose, but not great. Got orange blossom, orange creamscicle, New Zealand hops, papaya, peach and apricot. Nowhere tasting near 8.8 percent ABV. (Taste - 3.75)
Light body. Oily texture. Average carbonation. Abrupt finish. (Feel - 3.75)
This was a decent IPA, but not extraordinary. (Overall - 3.75)

from the growler, exactly 23.9 hours from filling. seems a little flat. most everything is very decent from Noble. except their instagram posts..... taste is good; I imagine it lost a little sitting in the frig. lower marks for what I experienced, bot not a detriment to the brewery. one of the best breweries in SoCal!
