On tap at Noble Ale Works in Anaheim, CA.
Billed as The Good Ship ESB with Earl Grey tea.
Pours a murky dark orange with a foamy bone colored head that settles to a partial film on top of the beer. Foamy streaks of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, grain, citrus zest, and tea aromas. Taste is much the same with a brewed tea flavor on the finish. There is a mild amount of tea-like bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty and interesting.
