I'm using a bit of imagination with this one as it was delivered to me in a growler that was filled last week. The bottle states that it should be drunk within 48hrs. As a result it's on the flat side of things. However it has a lovely chocolate and roast coffee bean taste and smell that makes me think that a fresh one would be a real treat. If you ever get to Charlottetown PEI I recommend stopping at the Gahan House Brew Pub for some fresh ale.

I am drinking a chilled sample in a pint glass from a growler my buddy Lucas brought to me.
THe beer pours a clear mahogany witha small beige head that fades quickly to a surface layer.
Aroma is gentle with caramel and chocolate dominating. Also a faint roasty scent sneaks in.
Average boday and average rolling carbonation.
Flavor starts sweet chocolate and caramel, glides effortlessly to a lite piney hop character, and the recedes to a sweet chocolate malt finish.
A good brew, a little watery in my opinion, but the growler was finished very easily and the brews were always very smooth.
