From a 16oz can dated 06/24/25. Purchased at the brewery 08/15/25. Served in a willi becher.
Pours a lightly hazed honey-gold with a fluffy two-plus fingers of cream coloured head. Retention is excellent, leaving a fat cap and a gobby webbery of lacing.
Nose is sharp and grainy. Aroma is plain bread with a trace of flowery orange.
Taste is light and bright with a gently clenching, cleansing snap of bitter citrus peel.
Relatively light bodied with a fine, zesty carbonation. Clean, easy-drinking with a slight hoppy bite at the finish.
Overall, a well-brewed APA. Despite the number of times I’ve said ‘light’ and ‘clean,’ it’s on the heftier side for a pale ale, not in a bad way. I bought a single to go - next time I would absolutely buy the four-pack.
