Poured a 473ml can into a pint glass. A three finger bubbly tan head on black. the head sticks around to the end. Sheets of fine lacing.
Pine/citrus hop smells. The taste follows the nose. Some fruit and subdued toasted malts. A moderately bitter hop finish.
Medium body and good carbonation. Overall a fine Black IPA.

From the brewery. Served cool into a pint glass.
Appearance - Dark cola brown with three finger of light tan head. Good staying power.
Smell - Light citrusy notes. Absence of roasty notes. Some guava and passionfruit with the slightest touch of roast. Subdued nose too.
Taste - Some passionfruit and stonefruit with a light kick of roasty flavors afterwards. Remains citrus and fruit forward afterwards. Some light tropical flavors linger.
Mouthfeel - Medium body with prickly carbonation. Medium-heavy on the body.
Overall - A more than passable Black IPA and good to see this style be represented with some new Ontario additions.
