Old can from the brewery. November 7, 2024 canning date. Served cold into a pint glass. Part of the Small batch series
Appearance - Dark cola brown with two fingers of fizzy tan head that blows off inside a minute. Small soapy collar left behind.
Smell - Roasty notes and definitely some coffee muddled in. Dark chocolate as well.
Taste - Quite coffee forward with some sweet sugary notes beside it, light milk chocolate flavor as well. Bitterness is fairly low.
Mouthfeel - SMooth and a bit fizzy with an easy to drink body. Not quite velvety but not that far off.
Overall - Decent little coffee stout, not a world beater, but a solid addition to any lineup.
