On cask.
The appearance was a presentable pale murky yellow color. This was poured to brim since it was on cask, so no head or lace on purpose.
The aroma had some sweet woody melding cherry sweet glossy faint grassy lager-breadiness up front. Seemed to all blend pretty well, surprisingly enough. I didn't know what to think going into this one.
The flavor leaned into the sweet side initially and definitely bringing out the lager qualities as it warmed. Definitely a lager sweet aftertaste, super light on the cherry.
The mouthfeel was light bodied with a pretty good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV appropriate. Some mobility along my tongue.
Overall, interesting lager. I didn't see it much as a German pilsener or a Czech pilsener, but its a nice lager to say the least. I'd give this another shot.
