This beer was not listed in the program for the Mondial de la Biere but it was available at the La Barberie booth on Sunday June 8th. The nice young lady behind the booth said it was, "with cherries."
The pour was a cloudy redish/pink looking almost like grapefuit juice. Somewhat light in appearance for my liking. The nose was very mild and refreshing. Lightly hopped and only a small hint of cherries.
The mouthfeel was spritzy and lively. The taste was smooth. Lightly hopped and again, the hint of cherries was very mild. In fact, so mild that it was not easy to distinguish that it was a cherry beer. Very little fruitiness or tartness really. It didn't seem like there was much jumping out at me. Very Subtle.
The finish was light and refreshing but soft and unfullfilling. Not what i had hoped for.
