It's pretty straight forward, reddish light brown in color, average size head. It smells of cherries and other fruits. It taste of malt with grape, and fruit cake aromas. mouthfeel is really refreshing with a medium body. Definitely a good for people who don't like heavy beers. Overall, a good beer but not my style.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy hazy reddish color ale with a large slightly off-white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of fruit with some define sangria notes and light cherry finish. Taste is a bit too strong on sangria which doesn't really do it for me with some light vinous and cherry notes at the end. Body is full with limited filtration and good malt presence and good carbonation with no apparent alcohol. Interesting but not necessarily something I would wish to have again.

This is a take off on sangria, the fruity and sweet Spanish wine. The key here, according to the server, was the use of a champagne press.
I like the blend of pine-like hops with some strong SweetTart flavors. Unlike some of La Barberie's other beers, this one had a head and left some lace on the glass. Slightly cloudy with a red-orange color.
THis is a little too sweet for my liking. Lots of plum jam and raspberries in the mouth. The finish however is sour.
Different and fascinating.

No much head but the appearance is good. Dark red... inviting
However, this one I didn't like... not sure if it is because of the Sangria or the beer itself... I will stay away from this one!
This one is probably good or bad... no middle in between. You like it or dislike.

An amazingly strong flanders red beer, brewed by our friends at Barberie. This is a lovely dark red in colour with ruby edges and an off-white head that is tinged slightly pink. The aroma is very fruity, funky, and quite sweet and malty as well. The taste is malty up front with some sweet cherry and berry aromas in the mix as well. The finish is earthy, with fresh hops in there as well. The mouthfeel is smooth AND refreshing and the drinkability is awesome!
