750 mL bottle. Clear yellow. Smells of light plum, earthy yeast, mineral notes. Tastes of plum, but dominated by minerality. As it dies down, it's got light earthiness. Light. Plum gives it a slight edge over base Charlie.

This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like lemon, white wine, light plum, fresh cut grassiness, lime zest, and pear.
This has a bit more complexity than the Regular Charlie, which shouldn't be surprising given the addition of plum pomace. There's a mineral character, some chalky lemon, a touch of white wine, and just a hint of sweet pulpy plum character.
This is very light bodied, and super drinkable, with a very light and crisp feel to it.
I definitely appreciate the attempt here to have a reasonably complex lower alcohol beer - hopefully some more breweries move in this direction in the future.

Pours a crisp yellow pilsner color with moderate carb. Nose is a gorgeous plum smell. Taste is lighter on the plum, body is light, just a dash or tartness, overall a big improvement on regular charlie with more body and complexity
Overall this is the best beer under 4% abv i have ever had. its super complex with minimal intrusion on your sobriety

750 ml bottle.
Pale yellow color with minimal head.
Aromas of pear, grass, lemon zest, and plum. Lots of hay and wheat. Just the foggiest hint of funk.
The flavor is sweeter than expected. Fresh pear, plum, granny smith apples and light citrus. Hay and grass. Slight barnyard funk.
Light bodied with moderate carbonation. A bit watery and lacking in carb bite.
Overall, this is a very good light farmhouse ale. The plum isn't terribly strong, but it's definitely present. This isn't too dissimilar from Arthur or Florence; it just comes in a lighter package. RIP Charlie.
