Brewed entirely with organic malt from Breathe Deep Farm in Claverack, NY, and malted by Valley Malt, we aimed for a light, refreshing and well-rounded beer, whose qualities are accentuated by its two months of cold, wood conditioning. Breathe Deep Farm practices fully regenerative farming in New York’s Hudson Valley and is Regenerative Organic Certified for all its products.

On tap at Three Penny Taproom in Montpelier, VT.
This one pours a clear golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like hay, wood, lemon peel, light citrus, and bready malts.
This is basic, simple, and just generally well done. The oakiness really rounds out the flavors, softens them up, so to speak. There’s some lemon, hay, and a soft grassy hop character, with a really nice doughy and bready malt backbone.
This is light bodied but creamy, with a really great drinkability.
I enjoyed this one - it was a good choice to order at one of the best beer bars in the country!

Poured from a growler, filled at the brewery 48 hrs ago.
A - Lovely golden backdrop, with excellent clarity. The pour yields a beautiful white knit cap.
Carbonation is gentle and hypnotic to watch.
S - A bit of baguette, lite grainy cracker, a little grassy and herbal with a hint of cut mint
T - Very narrow lane, again with delicate grainy base, and hint of that herbal grassy thread.
M - Right off the bat, easy drinking beer, Soft water profile, with a hint of that fouder touch. dances across the palate, with a crisp finish. Not to dry but screams sushi!!
O - A very good lager, with excellent feel , flavor and again so very easy to want another pour.

This is really good. I would say not quite as good as the other lagers from Hill Farmstead but a darn good lager nonetheless. Goes down easy and is very fresh.
